Veteran War Dog Retires

Lucky, an explosives detection dog, has completed multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and is ready for retirement. In an interview with the Spokesman-Review his handlers, Tech Sergeant Levi Wilson and Staff Sergeant Gerald Martinez pay tribute to the dog they hope to adopt.

    I love that Lucky has more than one person hoping to adopt him. Whoever he ends up with, I hope he’ll have a wonderfully happy life!
