Behind the Scenes: The Making of OK Go's Rescue Dogs Video
When White Knuckles came out last month, it was an instant hit with dog lovers, who were amazed to learn that it was not edited – it was a true “one run” clip, with no mistakes edited out. It’s interesting to get a behind the scenes look at how it was pulled off. Note that the final cut was attempt 72 out of 128 takes!

Thanks for the video—we wondered what was behind the great video!
Drools and licks,
Minnie and Mack
It is nice to see some humans with enough patience to keep filming until it was right. Also you know it cost a lot and then to say the net proceeds will go to ASPCA is great. Makes you want to go out and buy their new CD.
Awesome!
Was so happy to hear that they will donate the proceeds to ASPCA. Thanks for sharing
Woof! Woof! it was a pawsome video. Lots of rave reviews. Proud of the band which originated from here. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
They shot it that many times? I’m surprised the dogs weren’t all asleep by the last take! It’s definitely one cool video!
This is very cool! I didn’t realize they shot it that many times. I thought it was a one shot deal. I wonder how they got the dogs to continue doing it for that long. You’d think they’d tire of it after the first 5 or 6 shots.
Cool! Thanks for the behind the scenes peek.
I love this video! The thing that impressed me the most was that they were mostly rescue dogs
All we can get is selected item is not available.
AWESOME! I bought the HD version of the video the other day and am so impressed with their creativity and compassion and awareness for animals. There would have been so many ways to do this wrong and they did not!
Really incredible they were able to make this beautiful video. Lots of brain and heart here! Bravos to all humans and magnificent rescue dogs (and goat! ) who all made this.
