With three dogs in our house, dinner time can get a little busy around the food bowl, with elbowing and jockeying for position a regular part of the ritual. There are never any hard feelings, and that amazes me when you consider that two of the three are Labs – a breed known for their love of all things food.
As we consider adding another dog to the mix this spring, I often wonder if the newbie will figure out the pecking order when it comes to feeding time. If not, I think I’ve found the perfect highlight reel for training: if these hungry hunting dogs from The Château de Cheverny can get along while sharing a meal, I think we’re going to be just fine. 🙂
