US Soldiers Rescue War Dogs

Military regulations specifically prohibit the men and women of our armed forces from keeping or caring for pets in a war zone.

But some rules were meant to be broken, and in increasing numbers, our soldiers are finding ways to rescue foreign strays with the help of social media and organizations formed specifically for the sake of rescuing war dogs.

Now many of our troops are returning home, and they’re on a mission to save their war buddies.

The government spends millions on mental health care for returning soldiers when all it may take for some is their pet to return with them. Seems like a life and money saved!!

Isn’t that pet therapy, after all? It only human to love animals and look for love in them.

The puppies/dogs need to be rescued now. If they meant that much to the soldiers and provided those men and women a little piece of mind while fighting that war than the government should provide the means to get those puppies/dogs home to join the men and women who loved them. After all those men and women gave their all – now our government needs to show them they were apprecited, rescue their pets.

Its good for the troops (think pet therapy) and its good for the dogs..and a whole lot cheaper to the gov than a shrink, me thinks. So why not? Seems like a no-brainer

God bless our troops. Our troops have the heart, courage and compassion to stand up and do the right thing. Our government should back them. The soilder in this piece said the puppy kept him human and others feel better because of their special bond with the animals they meet. Good luck and Come home ALL OF YOU!

It’s a win-win situation for all concerned. Please let the troops bring their loyal buddies home with them.
