A pair of bonded dogs have lost nearly everything after their owner passed away unexpectedly. For now, at least they still have each other.
Sally was born deaf and blind. After spending years living with Sally, Patches has taken on guide dog duties for her, and gently guides her little sidekick through life. Because of this, and because the dogs have already suffered tremendous loss, the Animal Defense League of Texas is hoping that both will be adopted as a pair. They are even offering a discount on adoption fees for anyone taking them together.
I am a spayed female Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. I am four years old and I weigh 27 pounds. I am both deaf and blind, and have been all my life. I am very brave and use my nose to tell me what is going on. I am not afraid to get on a leash and go for a walk, but it helps if you touch me gradually so I’ll know you are there. My owner died so I find myself here. I am housebroken and like other dogs, but children may disturb me due to my disabilities.
I am a spayed female Australian Cattle dog. I am six years old and I weigh 55 pounds. I am outgoing and walk nicely on a leash. I have a cute little bob tail. My owner passed away, so I find myself here to find another home. I am housebroken, like a lot of exercise, play well with children, and I like both dogs and cats.
A loving home that can accommodate both of these lovely dogs together is needed. To adopt these best friends, or for more information, please visit the Animal Defense League of Texas.
