Giveaway: Rustic Hound Dog Collar/Charm

Rustic Hound was inspired by dog lovers, and the never ending search for products that were truly unique. Believing that a hound’s personality was bigger than any product they could find, they decided that it was time to add some character an often overlooked, essential accessory.

With that in mind, Rustic Hound has designed a collar that gives owners the opportunity to design it to their likes, or their hound’s special interests. A primary concern was that it would be need to be durable – for the dog that goes everywhere with you. The charms would have to stay in place, and hold up in the dirt, snow, ocean, and even when they ran wild in the woods.

Rustic Hound dog collars work with Jibbitz shoe charms that lock into place. They are easy to remove, change, and thousands of options are available. A collar can be simple, matching, have 3-D objects, or crazy bright colors. Choose from teams, sports, hobbies, jobs, flowers, cartoons, vacations, seasons, holidays, and much more. They are also waterproof, eco-friendly, easy to clean, fade proof, and don’t smell if your pup dives in the water.

The result: each collar is as unique as you – and your hound.

    My 2 chihuahua’s don’t wear collars.

  20. While these are cute, and might be okay for special occasions, they’re not practical for everyday use without a quick release option. After losing our 1 yr old baby Angel to a tragic, and preventable, collar accident years ago, we never use collars at home and only quick release safety collars when we go walking or to the park. It took me months to get over the PTS afterward, and I swore to her it would never happen to another dog in my care, ever. RIP sweet Angel, we love and miss you.

    • Trudy,Thanks for your comments. David and I both thgouht the Plott hounds looked a little leggy. They would have been a lot taller than most of the dogs that are used for hunting around here and most of those dogs are registered. What works in a show is not going to work so well in these mountains.Look us up when you come south this summer.Nannie
