Sharing a stick or fighting over a stick? My money’s on the bird.

Love this!! My border collie is actually afraid of my small parrot when she starts banging her toys against the cage – the dog heads for the bedroom!

Bryan! Chill out man! Dogs have been chewing up and even eating sticks FOREVER! Especially a small stick like that one,….it’s not going to hurt him! Not that I let him, but if I’m not careful, my dog will chew up my reading glasses! A couple of times, I wasn’t even able to find all the pieces! Vet said, “Don’t worry about it! This to shall pass!” (true story!) Dogs are truly amazing… But I will say that I think it’s really sweet that you care so much! ;-)

That dog is likely saying,”Watch out with the beak Polly…my favorite dinner is Chicken & Rice flavored Dog Chow…”

At the end of this the Macaw did get in a little nip and the German Shepherd did not like it at all. I was holding my breath there, Macaw’s can break bones. It was fun to watch. The owners place a lot of trust in the relationship.

How gentle they are with each other, especially Summer for only a year old! Loved it when she gave Elvis kisses! Summer is one of the most gorgeous Shepherds I’ve ever seen! Elvis is simply beautiful! We humans could still learn a lot from our animal brethren, no?

Very cute and the dog is so gentle… But the parrot outside makes me think his wings were clipped witch is very sad… Imagine being a bird and not being able to fly… It’s a dream of most humans to be able to fly, why take it away from a bird! Dog tail ducking and ears cutting like declawing cats should all be banned.

Parrots are MUCH safer with their wings clipped… ours has his flights, but in the summer, for his safety, we clip his wings. Doors being opened and shut, or left open on accident.

If it was able to fly and it got lost. It would then be terrified, alone, unable to find food, cold, and starve or die from exposure or killed by a predator.

I’m sure it’s SO much better than having a few feathers clipped…

I’m owned by a parrot, and I would say to anyone thinking about it: Don’t. Parrots are wild creatures NEVER fully domesticated. They have their own rules and ideas of how things should be. They are not supposed to be pets.

I will take care of my parrot to the end of it’s days or ensure it is well taken care of and happy and ensure the same if I die first.

I would not support the pet bird trade in any way, shape, or form.

big, nasty alsatian !! very gentle, but PLEASE DONT LET YOUR DOG PLAY WITH STICKS, THEY CAN EASILY GET STUCK IN THEIR THROATS AND CHOKE, VERY DANGEROUS.

I have a German named Pilot and he loves to take naps with Sasha, the family Coon cat.

    Adorable film.
