Blind Dog and Guide Seek New Home Together
Do you have room in your home and your heart for this bonded pair?
A blind dog and her faithful friend are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Pinellas. Sarah the Chihuahua, 3 years old, has a neurologic disease that causes problems with her eyes and her mobility. Her friend Max the Papillon, also 3 years old, shows her around and protects her.
Sarah follows Max everywhere he goes, and because she relies on him for support, the Humane Society will not separate them. “They’ve lost everything else in their lives. We don’t even know exactly what they went through before they ended up at the shelter before we got them,” said shelter staffer Twila Cole.
To adopt Max and Sarah, please visit the Humane Society of Pinellas.

Aww, such cuties! BFFs!
So sweet best wishes , hope someone can open their heart and they get a forever home.
If I lived in Florida I would love to be a part of their life.
Aww advocate and shared!!
This is local to me, but I have too many pets already!
I had a older Cockpoo that went blind, and my little Chihuahua became her seeing eye dog. it was a beautiful relationship.
I only wish I could adopt these two. I can’t imagine how much joy and fulfillment they’d bring to one’s life. Someone is going to be very lucky to have them.
Where is Pinellas?
it is a suburb of St.Pete
