Huntsville, Alabama police have issued a warning to area parents after a man was seen trying to lure children away from a community swimming pool with a dog.
Parents have reported seeing a man acting suspiciously while asking children if they want to play with a black dog he was carrying. Each time a parent approached the man he fled.
The man was later observed watching the children from a parked car. When parents approached his vehicle, he drove off. Officials said children’s toys were seen in the back seat of the car.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s with brown hair. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Huntsville Police Department at 256.427.7009
