Prince Fenton is getting a new life thanks to a caring volunteer, a non-profit that helps dogs with special needs and Pilots N Paws.

Prince, a stray, came to Reach Out Rescue after being found abandoned and unable to use his back legs. Knowing Prince would need special care the rescue contacted Katie Kaiser to see if she could be a long-term foster for Prince. Katie fosters and helps special needs dogs regularly. Unfortunately, Katie was already busy with another special needs foster, but she still was able to help Prince out in a big way.

Katie arranged for specially designed wheels to help Prince walk and found him a temporary home at Hollow Creek Farm, a non-profit that helps with dog rehabilitation. Hollow Creek Farm takes in dogs that have behavior or medical issues that prevent them from being adopted. They rehabilitate these dogs and get them ready for adoption.

Prince will travel to the farm in South Carolina where he will learn to use his new wheels and get ready for adoption. Pilot N Paws will be flying him there. He was scheduled to be flown on Friday, but bad weather prevented the flight from occurring.

A chipin has been set up to help pay for Prince’s medical expenses and new wheels.
