3.1.13 Susick School

The second grade class at Susick Elementary School in Troy, Michigan made and donated over 60 fleece blankets for the dogs and cats awaiting adoption in an effort to make their cages a little brighter and warmer.  They also wrote very sweet letters to the animals that are hanging on their cages at the Rochester Hills Center for Animal Care. One of them reads…

Dear Puppy,

I chose the colors pink and green, I hope you like them.  I’m so happy to do something nice for you.  I worked so hard on it.  I cut and measured and tied so much.  I was careful making it.  I hope it makes the cage colorful.  Each knot means love.  I hope you find a good home.  I have a dog at home, and I play with her every day.

Love,
Ehrin
