Born in Freedom is the story of puppy mill survivor Matilda and her 6 puppies born into freedom.
Matilda was rescued by National Mill Dog Rescue in September of 2012 when, at 1 1/2 years old, she was pregnant with her second litter. The cycle of enslavement and misery was broken for Matilda and her pups, who were born in freedom and put on the path to having good lives.
