cdpfpgpFrogger found a miracle after he survived being thrown from a moving car and left on the side of a busy freeway. Luckily for him, a volunteer from Doggie Protective Services noticed him and picked him up. Frogger had a broken back and the Vet was unsure if he would survive. It was either have surgery or to put him down. Doggy Protective Services did what they could to fundraise.

Frogger had fans all over the country donate for his cause and Frogger had a successful surgery.

Frogger’s rescuers at Doggie Protective Services write:

April 4th Frogger was found on the freeway. He had been disposed of and had a broken back. After back surgery, rehabilitation, almost 7 months later our boy is finally ready to find his forever home.

Frogger is 2-3 years old. He is under 15lbs. He faced death and lived. He has transformed our rescue and made all of us believers. He taught us that no matter what the obstacle, working together we can face it. We have never faced the monetary challenges we incurred with Frogger’s surgery and care. But through an extensive network of incredible supporters, we were able to take care of Frogger.

Doggie Protective Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-driven, animal rescue organization. They do not have a kennel–all of their animals live in a network of foster homes from Southern California to Las Vegas to Northern California.
