In another film by the American Strays project of the World Animal Awareness Society, five dogs are rescued from an abandoned home in Detroit. In the video, the dogs are found to have injuries indicating neglect, at best, or a dog fighting ring, at worst.
The American Strays series highlights the many efforts being made by people to help the strays of Detroit and also the sometimes tough encounters between the dogs, the citizens of Detroit and the people working to help the strays.
