Heidi, a Baltimore search and rescue dog with Dogs Finding Dogs is a mix Shepherd-Labrador super hero that has been working along her best friend Anne for years. Together, the duo has saved many people but now the one that needs saving is Heidi.

The search and rescue dog has been diagnosed with liver cancer and if she doesn’t get surgery soon Anne will have to say good bye to her work partner and four-legged best friend.

The problem Anne and Dogs Finding Dogs face is the $6,000 price tag for Heidi’s operations. Right now the organization does not have the funds to cover the medical treatment, and if they don’t raise the funds soon, they’ll have to say good bye to their super hero dog.

The search and rescue team are asking for donations from the community. Together, they can help the canine beat the disease.
