Meet Honey the dog and Kwanza the lion cub. When Kwanza’s mother stopped producing milk, workers at Darling Downs Zoo in Australia paired him with a dog who took an immediate interest in him. Now the two are best buddies.
Honey tends to be the more dominant of the two, but all that will change when Kwanza grows to full size – weighing in at about 400 pounds in the next few years. In the meantime, Honey loves playing with her “little” kitty friend.
