This is an amazing video of the daring rescue procedures used to save a woman and her dog from drowning in a canal in Bakersfield City.  Reports said that the woman and her dog had been walking along the canal, not far from the Beale Memorial Library when the dog fell into the water.  The woman went in after her dog, but it was too much for her to do on her own.  Rescue workers and first responders put together an amazing rescue, and thanks to them both the woman and dog are alive today to tell the tale.
