Tara, a four-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix has spend more than half her life living in a Georgia shelter. She is a staff favorite and that’s why volunteers from the Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC), Ga., have not given up on finding her a forever home. They hope social media will help her find the forever home she’s been waiting for.

On July 24, 2015, HSFC posted a photo of Tara with the following message:
Iron will. 719 days determined……to stay happy and keep her spirits high…… as she waits. Tara is a 4 year old Boxer/Bulldog and she has spent 1/2 her life at the HSFC. Tara is a huge staff favorite and we love, love, love her personality and admire her wonderful perseverance. She is very strong in basic obedience and will always have another dog with her to play with during her outdoor time at our shelter. Please drop by the HSFC for a special visit to meet a very special girl. We know her time is coming, we hope her special person or family gets here soon.

This patient dog’s adoption fee has been sponsored and whoever adopts her will get one full year of dog food. Tara’s ideal home will be one with no cats or small children.

HSFC is conducting full adoption checks. Interested individuals should visit the adoption center at:
4440 Keith Bridge Road
Cumming, Georgia 30041
