Special needs animals often get overlooked when people are seeking to grow their families, but they have the capacity to be the most loving, loyal, and resourceful dogs around. While many have had a very hard start in life, once they have been given some love and care, they show their true colors and hearts of gold.

The capacity to love and bring joy knows no limits and while it is true that special needs animals often need more time and care and understanding because of their particular conditions, it does not take away from their ability to be a valued and loving member of any family.  If you ever had a question about how the quality of life, just  watch as these dogs seem to have the times of their lives, doing what dogs do best.
