Time and time again, Mom tells you to stay off the bed.
“I said, stay off the bed. Please.”
Really? You look up thoughtfully, probably with your head cocked to the side, eyes opened wide and wagging your tail.
“Yes, really. When I say stay off the bed, I mean, stay off the bed.” Perhaps a slight whine.
“Got it?” Repeat performance above, but with even more enthusiastic tail wagging. Mom leaves.
