Carly has been with All Aboard Animal Rescue and Shelter for nine months now, and she’s finally ready for a forever family.  She was rescued at the last minute, almost being put down because the shelter she was being housed at just didn’t have the space or resources for her.  The traumatic situation left her with some separation anxiety, but she more than makes up for it with her cuddly, sweetness and all-around desire to please.

Let’s see what All Aboard Animal Rescue and Shelter has to say about Carly:

Hi!  I’m Carly!  I have been with All Aboard for 9 months and was in a shelter for 45 days prior to them saving me from being euthanized due to lack of space.  I am a very sweet almost 2 year old pit/pointer mix.  I love to cuddle and am pretty mellow overall.

Don’t get me wrong though I’m always up for a good walk, run or hike.  I am good with other submissive dogs if introduced slowly, usually on a walk.  I am GREAT with kids!  I absolute love them and currently sleep on my foster sister’s bed with her every night!

I do need some training, but I am very smart and learn quickly.  I already know sit, down, stay and come. My leash skills could just use some work, but my foster home has been working with me on a training collar and harness.

I would do best in a home that someone is around frequently since I did have pretty severe separation anxiety, but have come very long way.  If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an application through my rescue’s website aaanimalrescue.org.  Please feel free to email [email protected] with any questions.
