Zeus may be a bit rough around the edges, however after meeting him, he will ONLY ever win your heart.  He’s been through so much in his nine short months of life already, so one could forgive him the occasional scrappiness.  He really just wants to love someone, and for someone to love him back, but according to Rescue Paws 4 Furry Hearts, it just hasn’t happened for Zeus yet.  Could he be the dog you’ve always been dreaming of?

Let’s see what Rescue Paws has to say about Zeus:

Zeus has been in the rescue since he was 4 months old and has been fostered, adopted, in boarding/training and then fostered by me since September 24th.  There is always that one dog that pulls at our heart strings no matter what they do or how many challenges they may bring to us.  Zeus has a very special place in my heart.

He has had to endure a lot in his almost 9 months of life.  He is one of those dogs that will demonstrate a rough exterior (although he does not do this much anymore) but deep inside he is a scared, loving, sweet and affectionate puppy that his only fault has been lack of proper attention and love.

Interested potential adopters must complete an adoption application on www.rescuepaws3.com (under forms) and submit to Sandra McGlynn at [email protected].  Once applications are reviewed, 2 personal references will be checked as well as a vet reference (if applicable).

Adoption fee for Zeus is $250.00 (includes neuter, all immunizations and microchip registered to new owner.)  Due to the fact that I would like whoever adopts Zeus to know how to work with him and give him a loving and forever home, I will apply his adoption fee to personal training sessions (not to exceed the cost of the adoption fee) by a local positive reinforcement trainer to the convenience of the adopter.  All I want is a happy ending for this deserving boy and for him to be loved and accepted just the way he is.
