By now you’ve likely seen – or even have – one of Subaru’s dog-friendly vehicles. But they’ve got nothing on Nissan, who recently revealed their newest vehicle concept, the X-Trail 4Dogs. It features a ramp, spill-proof water bowl, and a shower and blow dryer station for those messy adventures!
Small, injured, and arthritic doggos don’t have the easiest time getting themselves into the car, but they’d have no problem climbing aboard with this retractable ramp. And if they got muddy or stinky while exploring the great outdoors, they could be hosed down and dried off to avoid making a mess on the padded, upholstered interior.
The X-Trail concept also features a no-spill water bowl, a smart dog treat dispenser, a clip-on harness hooks, a two-way camera so pups and passengers can see each other, and storage compartments for treats and such.
This SUV hasn’t been released yet – Nissan needs to see how well it goes over before sending it into production, so let them know if you’d like one – but it will likely make its debut in Europe before hitting streets in the US.
