He came to the Columbus Dog Connection after one of his owners passed away and the other had to enter a nursing home. Readers in central Ohio may want to take note, because Albert is looking for his forever family.
At five years old, rescue staffers describe him as having “medium energy,” happy to get out and be active, but just as enthusiastic about lying around being lazy with his favorite people.
He’s got a few extra pounds on him right now — he’s lost a couple since living with his foster family — so an active owner would be great! He’s very sweet, enjoys the company of other dogs, and quite well trained. Those who have gotten to know him believe he’d be a great companion for a younger or older dog — and people of all ages.
