Good day, Life With Dogs readers!  We hope you and yours are well, and we have another LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day for you today.  She’s called Princess, and she comes to us from our friends at the Animal Rescue Volunteers in Simi Valley, California.  She’s a real survivor despite being so young, but it really hasn’t affected how much love she has to give.

Let’s let the Animal Rescue Volunteers introduce Princess:

4.25.17 Princess2

Princess was born approx. July 2016.  She is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy.  She gets along with dogs and is super playful.  She loves life and has been through a lot for being so young.  She survived rat poisoning, then parvo, and then was in a bad car accident with her prior owners.  As a result she had a severe fracture of her hind leg.  Her owners gave her up.  We rescued her from the shelter and had the needed surgery.  Since the injury was old and starting to heal, we were able to repair most of the fracture.  All has healed completely but she still occasionally limps.  It doesn’t slow her down though.

Completion of an obedience class will be required, no exceptions.  She needs an experience adopter.

Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet.  Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email ([email protected]) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
