This is our buddy, Apollo!  Apollo is a really big goofball, who is full of love with plenty to spare.  The poor guy was dropped off at the infamous NYCACC, and was listed as abandoned.  He’s since been rescued, and brought to our friends at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC.  He’s with a foster family for now, but he really needs a place to call his own.

Apollo is about three years old, and he weighs about 65 pounds.  Sure, he’s a bit on the big side.  However, Apollo is such a sweetheart, that one would be forgiven for forgetting his size.  It’s very important that anyone interested in adopting Apollo should know ahead of time that he’s a prolific snuggler.

Apollo does fine with other dogs.  When a meet and greet is set up, Apollo usually does very well.  He’s well behaved, and seems to get along with just about any dogs he might end up sharing space with.  His foster mom has also had him around cats, and it’s almost as if they don’t exist!  He just walks right past them, or if there is any interaction, so far there’s not been any problems.

Apollo is currently being fostered, and any potential adopters should know that he will be 100% up-to-date with all of his shots and his other medical needs.  He’ll also be neutered before he’s released as well.  He’s coming to us here from our good friends at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, and if you have any specific questions, click here for more information.
