Are you looking for love near Raleigh, NC?

The folks at Peak Lab Rescue have someone you should meet.

Agnes is an approximately 11-year-old lab mix with a beautiful white coat. Unbelievably, she’s in search of a family to call her own.

Agnes is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and petite at 45 pounds.

Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, Peak Lab Rescue is able to save senior labs like Agnes and meet the special needs they sometimes present. In Agnes’ case, there are no special needs. She’s in tip-top shape for a lady her age; she’s had a comprehensive senior health assessment, including blood work, x-rays, and a dental exam.

“Agnes is a perfect dog!”, says her foster mom Kristin. “She is housebroken and fine to stay out of her crate during the day. Agnes just loves to follow you around and be by your side.”

Senior doesn’t mean slow. Agnes may be mellow, but she still loves to play!

Kristin says Agnes knows commands like sit, down, stay, come, paw and crawl. All this smart lady needs is a family to love.

While mellow, Agnes also loves to get outside and run with her foster family’s other dogs and enjoys time playing with kids — she’s the total package!

If you’re within driving distance to Raleigh, NC, and are willing to come meet Agnes in person, you can apply for adoption at Peak Lab Rescue.
