A new law in the UK goes into effect on April 6th requiring dog parents to chip their dogs, or be fined.
“It’s just common sense that when the temperature is below freezing and there is nearly 30 inches of snow on the ground, your dogs should be indoors, safe and warm,” said Assemblywoman Rosenthal.
“It’s very important that we advocate for our pets and also make sure we have laws on the books that will protect them and we will continue advocating for them,” said Johnson.
