Tiny Yorkie Rescued After Falling Down Sewer Drain

Three Wilmington, N.C. firefighters helped rescue a tiny dog after it feel 3 ft. down a sewer drain.

140606-DrainPuppyFirefighters came to the rescue of a tiny black and brown Yorkie that slipped through the cracks of a storm drain in Wilmington, N.C. The miniature pet was trapped in the drain after falling about 3 ft., and it needed professionals to come rescue it.

The pet’s owner called 911 and Wilmington firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

It took three firemen to pry open the iron cover and free the dog.

The tiny pet didn’t suffer any injuries and it is now safe in the arms of its loving owner.

    1. We owned a 6 pound 10 years old. Yorker , she passed away and our hearts died, but she couldn’t live in her shape, after her massive heart attack.But our hearts are still Broken, know other Missy can be found anywhere, so I know how you felt when she was gotten out and was in your arms again, if I could only Do That again, Hold her in my Arms.
