Homeless pets from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in the United Kingdom usually  spend 29 days before finding a loving forever home, but for Buster, a three-year-old, white Staffordshire bull terrier mix, the wait has been longer. This canine has waited nine long months for a new family to love him, but no one wants to take him home.

Buster was surrendered when his previous owners realized they couldn’t handle multiple dogs, and sadly, the playful Staffordshire bull terrier mix ended up at the shelter.

Michelle Bevan, Battersea Brands Hatch’s rehoming and welfare manager told Sevenoaks Chronicle that “it is a real shame to see him still in kennels after nine months, as the best place for him would be with a family who [is] going to love him and give him lots of play time. Buster is an excitable and lovely dog with a happy and playful nature.”

According to Bevan, white Staffies are harder to adopt than other dogs, but she hopes that once someone spends time getting to know Buster, they will fall in love with him and his fantastic personality. However, the organization continues to wait for someone interested in Buster to walk through their doors.

We hope our friends in the UK read this article and realize that Buster doesn’t deserve to spend one more day at the shelter. Why not share this article and help us bust Buster out? Lets get him into the loving forever home he wants and deserves.
