On December 11, 2014, eight beautiful puppies were found on the side of the road near the Willowbrook Mall in Houston, Texas. The puppies were inside a dog food bag that had been tossed on the side of the road. If it wasn’t for the caring animal lovers that stopped to check the bag, the puppies would have never been found and rescued.

All eight puppies were transported to North Houston Veterinary Specialists (NHVS) were they were checked. Veterinarians determined all puppies are in good health condition.

Abandoned Animal Rescue (AAR) in Tomball, Texas, has stepped forward to take care of the dogs. For now, the canines are being hand fed and kept together. Once they are old enough to be adopted, the organization will place them up for adoption.

Anyone interested in adopting one of the dogs should contact AAR via their website.
