When the Simpkins family brought Alfie home from the Dogs Trust charity – the UK’s largest dog welfare charity – they knew he was something special. They just didn’t know how special, however, until they unleashed him on the field with a football.
This quickly earned him the nickname “Ronaldog” (after Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo) and videos of his mad skills have turned him into a viral video sensation.
“He’s incredible,” owner Pete Simpkins said of Alfie’s athleticism during a BBC In Short broadcast, “especially as we’ve never trained him. It’s all natural skill.”
We think David Bark-ham would be a stellar name. Get that dog an H&M deal!
