Spud and Spot are the very best of friends, but, sadly, they had been neglected and were taken from their owner in May. After proper food and good care, the two are ready for a new home, but they really need to be kept together. Currently they are being housed at Gwinnett County Animal Control which does not have accommodations for housing a cat and dog together, however, because of their close relationship, they are given “together” time, according to the adoption coordinator assured the National Pet Rescue Examiner.

Spud & Spot (3)

Spot is a three-year-old white Angora female and her best buddy, Spud, is a 13-year-old Beagle, but some folks think he looks a bit like a Golden Retriever with short legs.  His Animal ID #50494 Pen NC-02 “SPUD.”  They are said to both be very friendly and although he is a senior, Spud is active and happy.

Please, consider giving these two the kind of forever home they deserve. For more information on fostering or adoption, reference Spud (Animal ID #50494 Pen NC-02) and Spot (Animal ID #50495 Pen NF-45) and call 770-339-3200. Rescues please email rescue coordinator: [email protected].
