Why Fetch a Lame, Old Ball When you can Fetch Your Brother Instead?!

According to YouTube user D Duff, “My younger German Shepherd will fetch his brother if you tell him to.”  That’s right!  This dog can fetch a whole lot more than just a ball or stick.  Chew toys?  That’s rookie stuff!  This dog fetches other dogs!

The video itself isn’t that long.  It’s only about 20 seconds long, but after you hear the human say <Go get your brother,” the dog goes off screen, only to return with another dog at his side.  If you watch closely, you can see it’s really not two dogs walking into a room together.  One dog clearly has the other by the collar, and is leading him into the house.

We don’t know how long it took D Duff to teach his dog this, or maybe the skill came as part of the whole package.  In our opinion, it doesn’t matter if he was trained or just started doing it because he saw a human leading a dog by the collar.  The bottom line is we’re pretty sure that this is one trick that not many of us have seen before.

How about your dogs?  Do you have any especially skilled pooches in your family?  Maybe they also have their own take on fetch, or maybe you trained them to do something truly unique.  Please feel free to share your talented dogs with us in the comments below, or on our Facebook page.  If you share your dog videos with us, you might just see it featured on our page!
