Police in Boulder, Colorado were called into to pull a special duty rescue.  Apparently, a pair of sheep and their dog friend had escaped their yard and wandered away from home, and thankfully police were able to corral the fugitives and bring everyone home without incident.

The police actually just happened to come across the three amigos out for their unsupervised walk.  They were seen at the intersections of 28th Street and Kalmia Avenue on Sunday morning.  At first, no one was really sure what to make of what they were seeing, but they did manage to get everyone together and back home safely.

On Monday morning, the police department put out a Tweet of a picture of the officers and their suspects that said, “Something we don’t see every day!  Two sheep and their dog friend decided to take themselves for a walk.  All were safely returned to their owner.”
