Good Sunday loyal Life With Dogs readers!  We hope the day finds you and yours well, and boy do we have a really great dog to feature today.  Her name is Trixie, and we’re pleased to present her as our LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day.  She comes to us from the good people at Animal Rescue Volunteers in Simi Valley, California.

Let’s let Animal Rescue Volunteers introduce Trixie:

Trixie was born approx. 2011 and is a female terrier mix.  While she is a bit timid, she is very sweet, is always wagging her tail, always happy, and is playful.  She arrived at the shelter with her sister, Pixie, who is also available for adoption, as their owner surrendered both of them with severe mange.

The mange was so bad that she had lost all of her fur.  Her fur has mostly grown back and the mange is completely gone!  Unfortunately, a while ago she jumped wrong and broke her leg.  It has completely healed though and she is ready to find her forever home!
