Good day, loyal Life With Dogs readers! Today is a brand new day, and we have a brand new LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day. He is called DeeBee, and he comes to us from the good people at the Humane Rescue Alliance out of the Washington DC area. He unfortunately couldn’t go to where his family was forced to move to, and he needs a new home.
Let’s let DeeBee introduce himself:
Hi there, I’m DeeBee! Â I came to HRA when my last owner moved to a place that didn’t allow dogs and couldn’t take me with them. Â I was really bummed about that, but I’m trying to stay positive while I wait for a new family to come along.
I really love attention and affection, and I’m only 6 years old, so I’m the perfect age for adoption -not too much puppy energy, but active enough to be a good companion for walks and outdoor activities. Â I think I’d do great with an active family that wants to go on hikes and play ball with me. Â I LOVE TENNIS BALLS!!
My last owner said that I was a really good pet and did well with children in my last home. Â I’ve also previously lived with other dogs, and get along great with my foster sister. Â I’d prefer a home without cats, because I’ve been known to chase them in the past.
