Riley Weinberger is a big fan of animals and of country singer Miranda Lambert. The six-year-old girl is an active volunteer at her local animal shelter and was determined to get the singer to come tour the shelter when Lambert came to Florida on her tour. On Saturday Riley’s dream came true.
Country Singer Miranda Lambert is known for being an animal lover. Earlier this week she came to the rescue of a dog left abandoned on the highway in Oklahoma.
“Rescue dogs are not broken animals,” Levitt said. “They are the victims of bad circumstances, but most are loving and most grateful creatures.”
Thirty five lucky homeless dogs from area shelter will be featured and hopefully they’ll find a forever home before the end of Black Friday.
It took a little help from their friends but three Detroit Metro area rescue groups won’t have to worry about food for a year.
