Dog Trapped in Mine Shaft Gets Rescued

When rescuers arrived at the scene they heard barks. Using safety ropes, a fire rescuer was lowered to where the dog was trapped and once secured the scared pet was lifted to safety.
Four days after a car accident a woman spotted a scared dog on the ledge of a Quarry. Firefighters stepped up to rescue to scared dog.
By the next day, Hero was back to her normal self. She is expected to make a full recovery. In addition to saving Hero, firefighters also made sure they saved Justin’s medals, awards, photos and the flag that was draped over his coffin.
“We don’t just rescue two-legged victims…we love our four-legged friends as well,” the Austin Fire Department said on their Facebook page.
