Wounded soldier & injured military dog are reunited, recovering together

It took officers about a half hour to reunite the 9-year-old girl with her furry, 15-year-old best friend.
The rogue pup was safely apprehended thanks in part to Trooper Corey Brown, whose quick thinking helped get the dog off the highway and out of danger.
Ginger was still wearing the same collar she had on when she ran off three years ago.
Thanks to Officer Schneider, the suspect was booked for theft and the dog was returned to his rightful owner.
