Two homeless woman sought help for a female dog injured after being thrown from a car. The canine was turned into the Humane Society and given medical assistance.

Many veterinarians have seen her, and with the improvements she’s made, some say she’ll walk again someday. But therapy is expensive.
“Having served in Iraq, you see a lot of loss, which is one of the reasons I was determined to see him make it,” Schneider said.
“The three of us were in the highway, trying to stop traffic, but we weren’t thinking of that,” Lisa said. “We just knew we had to save the puppy, because if we didn’t, then he was going to be killed.”
“When we were cleaning her up, I actually saw a tear come down her face. I’ve never seen that before. This dog was in a lot of pain, and I think she knew it was going to be the end. I told the dog that I wouldn’t let her die.”
