Petco removes dog and cat treats made in China from website and shelves
Pet supplies retailer Petco announced on Monday that it has removed all cat and dog treats made in China from its website and store shelves.

“This is something we’ve been working toward for some time, and feel it’s the right thing to do for pets and our customers,” said a PetSmart spokeswoman.
FDA Finally Taking Action on Tainted Jerky Treats
Since 2007, the FDA has received reports of 580 deaths and over 3,600 illnesses associated with chicken, duck, sweet potato and fruit jerky.
