A total of 45 dogs were rescued, 11 people were arrested, three children taken by CPS, and maybe more arrests to follow; All from a fighting ring raid in Ohio.
Thanks to a call to a puppy mill hotline, 295 puppies were rescued, and are now safe and sound in a shelter.
Alvin Banks will serve a two-year prison term for charges surrounding a dog fighting ring bust.
“Animals being spared the life of suffering at the end of a chain or at the hands of somebody in a bloody pit, where they’d ultimately lose their lives,” said Chris Schindler.
