Watercraft

This is a fun jaunt no matter your breed of choice. If you don’t have time for the entire clip, check out a couple of highlights at 2:03 and 3:15. This one has summer fun written all over it.

    Pure joy. It makes me forget the reality of driving home with four wet dogs in the back seat of the car.

    They sure look like they’re having fun. Don’t they know they’re getting wet? Is it possible that they like getting wet? I thought that was only labradudes.

    I knew greyhounds were just labrador wannabe’s wrapped up in skinny packages. What next, they start showin’ up at the back door with a groundhoggeh in their mouth?

    Yeah, right…….

    Clearly, when left to their own devices, dogs know how to have fun! Notice – no fancy leashes, no planned walks, no mind-taxing toys. We all know a simple recipe when we see one – JUST ADD WATER.

    What a fantastic video. Those two look like they’re having the time of their lives! Our Hungarian Kuvasz and Tibetan Spaniel are not huge fans of water, but I’ll be sure to show them this to let them see what they’re missing out on! *lol*

    @Kyhra:
    They are “Galgos”.
    http://www.foreverhomegreyhounds.com/resource/history_of_galgos.shtml
    Many people from Germany are adopting those dogs from Spain, since they are abused and killed in a very vicious way at their home-country.

    A wonderful video :-)

    JOY!!! JOY!!! DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME! Many don’t know these beautiful, graceful, gentle furkids can swim, but NO swimming pools! Because they can get in, but they can’t get out. (unless there’s a walk-out) NO DEEP WATER. THANKS for posting, I just love this little film. Hope to see more!

    Brings tears to my eyes to see these joyful sighthounds. How I wish that all greyhounds and Spanish galgos could enjoy such freedom and fun. The heartbreak of life for the majority of galgos (Spanish greyhound) owned by hunters and racing enthusiasts in Spain live horrific lives. We all do our best to save as many as we can so they can know the sound of kind words and the warmth of a gentle caress. And how much better if they could enjoy such a life as these lucky dogs.

    What a wonderful video of happy galgos. it reminds me of every morning when i let my three greyhounds and one whippet loose in the padoc. Their grace and beauty is breath taking their speed and raw power is awesome. To see this every morning is a priveledge and an honour to have these lovely beings in our lives is a crowning achievement. Thanks for sharing let a greyhound race into your heart.

    I’m almost speechless! All dogs should have so much fun on a regular basis:-) My greyhound loves running in the water at the beach but she doesn’t go in deep yet, but it is winter here and I’ve only had her 3 months.
