This is an initiative worthy of your attention. Once you come to understand it, you’ll know why I recommend that you share it with every animal lover you know. Perhaps you’ve been fortunate and have never lost a pet. But if you ever do, support networks like this could make the difference between finding your lost friend, or spending a lifetime wondering.

Oh my goodness so many precious fur babies missing…that is my biggest fear…
I hope and pray each of the missing have found a kind soul to feed and care for them.

Thank you for sharing this on facebook. I hope I never need Oliver alert but if I do what a great tool to help me find my precious little ones that may be lost. Everyone that has a beloved pet needs to bookmark this site!

I feel so bad for the people who have lost their precious ones. I pray that they will have peace in their lives and hope that they will find them.
Little Oliver is just beyond adorable! So I guess they never found him? So sad.
I know the pain of losing a pet firsthand, it’s heartbreaking. Glad that some good came out of Oliver going missing.
This is literally my biggest fear when it comes to my pets. I know that they will pass on someday and in some small way I’m prepared for that. But to have one of my pets become lost and never know what happened to them – I think that would absolutely rip my heart to pieces. (Even our two indoor cats are chipped because I’m so paranoid about it.) Thank goodness for organizations like OliverAlert to help those who have lost their babies.
Oh, yes, Oliver’s story so break my heart. Dawn published the story of how she met Oliver and how the web site Oliver Alert began, after Oliver got lost.
