The Saturday Pet Blogger Hop/The Rescued Stray Therapist
Nine years ago, Frances Pilot rescued a stray named Louis, a dog with much potential and a very important job in his future.
Louis was severely ill at the time of adoption, and Frances is certain he would have been euthanized had she not found her way to him. Now, Frances and Louis offer pet therapy in the animal-assisted care program at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, and in this report from Time, we follow Louis on the job as he helps make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than himself.
