Teddy lived in a puppy mill for 7 years before being rescued by National Mill Dog Rescue. Now this puppy mill survivor is learning all about life outside the cage.

God i hate puppy farms i hope the owners got what was coming to them, great to see the little dogs saved and happy,!!

I used to be more active in rescue and was a foster mom for several years (got too expensive for me!). I’ve had several puppy mill refugees and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such grateful dogs! Some adapted quickly to their soft beds, good food, belly rubs, and grass under their feet, and some took longer. Some preferred to live under the bed. It didn’t matter. As long as they had a warm, safe home, that was good enough for me! Please consider rescued dogs and do not turn your back on the “special” ones. They are the ones who need us most (and we them)!
