Dog Night was held on Tuesday; the team encouraged fans to bring along as many furry friends as possible in order to set a record for number of dogs to attend a sporting event….

They succeeded when an impressive 1,122 pups got taken out to the ball game at U.S. Cellular Field (in designated areas of the outfield stands).

“We received a tremendous turnout for our four-legged friends tonight,” said Brooks Boyer, Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing according to the Chicago Sun Times. “We are thrilled that the White Sox dog-friendly event has become a storied piece of our tradition, especially as we add a milestone with tonight’s ‘most dogs attending a sporting event’ title through Guinness World Records.”
