A refugee of the 2017 hurricane season, spicy senior Cinnamon made her way from the Gulf Coast to the West Coast. Now she just needs a loving forever home!

Cinnamon traveled a long way for a new lease on life!

She came to reside in sunny San Diego, with the folks at Lionel’s Legacy — a senior dog rescue — by way of Louisiana, a refugee from the 2017 hurricane season.

Thanks to a grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization, Cinnamon has had heartworm treatment and is ready to love and be loved!

Cinnamon is a hound mix who loves to please her people, keep an eye on things, and (as hounds so often do) sleep! She would do best in a home without cats.

Those at Lionel’s Legacy say she’s got a very affectionate way of letting you know she’s happy: she will walk up to you and cradle your hand in her mouth! She loves to play with other dogs and often instigates a game of chase. Cinnamon may be 9, but she is full of life and energy and has so much love to share!

She’s up to date on vaccines, and is already microchipped and spayed. Bonus: she’s also crate trained!
