On a very cold night, Hector a former stray dog, lost two of his legs and part of his tail when he froze to the ground. Fortunately he was found by a Good Samaritan who saved the dog’s life and adopted him into her family.

Lisa Korol, a 47-year-old woman from Canada, found the Border collie mix and took the pet to a veterinarian. She cared for the dog while he healed from his injuries.

Korol loved Hector so much that she bought him prosthesis to help him regain his mobility and freedom, however, the dog’s first set of prosthetic legs did not work  and the pet required a second pair, yet the animal rescuer couldn’t afford to make the second expense on her own.

Korol turned to animal lovers across the county and raised over $7,000 for Hector’s new prosthetic legs. As soon as his new legs were on, the excited dog was ready to get out for a run and conquer the world.
